From May 27 to 31, a trade mission featuring Ukrainian food producers is taking place in Toronto. The initiative is organized by the Ukrainian Food Manufacturers Alliance in partnership with the Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce, the Embassy of Ukraine in Canada, Nazovni.online, Diia.Business, and the Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office of Ukraine.
The goal of the mission is to establish direct connections between Ukrainian companies and Canadian retailers, distributors, and importers; to expand the presence of Ukrainian brands in Canadian supermarkets; and to showcase the diversity of Ukrainian gastronomy - modern, innovative, bold, and of high quality.
The mission’s highlight was the “Taste of Ukraine Day” - a professional showcase of Ukrainian food products for representatives of Canada’s retail, distribution, and HoReCa sectors. Nearly 20 Ukrainian producers presented their brands, many of which already demonstrate strong potential to enter the Canadian market.
It is important to note that Ukrainian products are already featured in numerous Loblaws supermarkets, and this trade mission marks another step toward broader visibility of “Made in Ukraine” on shelves across Canada.
This event is not only about building trade partnerships - it’s also about cultural bridges and sharing the story of a resilient Ukraine in a universal language: the language of food.
MEEST Canada served as the mission’s reliable logistics partner, delivering product samples from Ukraine and supporting Ukrainian exporters.
We sincerely thank all partners for jointly organizing “Taste of Ukraine Day” and for their contribution to promoting Ukrainian business in Canada.
Let “Made in Ukraine” become a familiar label in every Canadian home.
