On May 31, 2025, Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada Yuliya Kovaliv took part in a conference organized by the NATO Association of Canada in partnership with the Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce, the Embassy of Ukraine in Canada, the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, and Mriya Aid.
Among the panel participants were General Ben Hodges, Dr. Balkan Devlen, journalist and analyst Diane Francis, Nobel Peace Prize laureate Oleksandra Matviichuk, as well as representatives of the Canadian government, expert community, and diplomatic corps.
The key topic of the discussion was the importance of Ukraine’s NATO membership as a guarantee of security, restoration of statehood, and building a stable and prosperous future for Ukraine as part of a united Europe.
The Embassy expresses gratitude to the organizers and partners of the event for supporting an important discussion on Ukraine’s future in the Euro-Atlantic community.
