77 Ambassadors of diplomatic missions in #Ottawa, in particular members of the G7, NATO, EU, and Global South countries (including India and South Africa) took part in the diplomatic reception at the Global Affairs #Canada.

The event was hosted by the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Mélanie Joly along with the Guest of Honour Ambassador of Ukraine in Canada Yuliya Kovaliv.

The guests discussed the implementation of the points of President Zelenskyy’s Peace Formula, in which Canada is actively involved, particularly the restoration of justice, humanitarian demining, global food security, and security guarantees for Ukraine.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba and Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak addressed the high-level audience with video messages on the matter of President Zelenskyy’s Peace Formula and upcoming Global Peace Summit.

Dmytro Kuleba “Canada has the diplomatic muscle to achieve the task of gathering a broad coalition in support of the Peace Formula”.

Mélanie Joly “It is essential that we strengthen and rebuild #Ukraine to make sure that #russia will not try to invade again”.

As a sign of solidarity with Ukraine, at the end of the event, all participants sang the national anthem of Ukraine.
