What better gift for newborn Ukrainians on Vyshyvanka Day than their very first embroidered shirt?

Today, Ambassador Yuliya Kovaliv welcomed young Ukrainians at the Consulate in Ottawa, where they were officially registered as citizens of Ukraine. Continuing a wonderful tradition, the little ones received their first vyshyvanky as gifts.

The Ambassador wished the young Ukrainians health, happiness, and a bright future as honorable citizens of Ukraine.
