Today in Ottawa, the tradition of the Vyshyvanka Walk was continued.

Hundreds of Ukrainians, dressed in festive embroidered shirts, gathered together and marched through the central streets of the city to showcase the beauty and strength of Ukrainian embroidery.

The walk concluded at Ottawa City Hall, where, very symbolically, the Ukrainian flag flies alongside the Canadian flag as a sign of support and friendship between our nations.
