During a half an hour long video presentation Mr.Sienik introduced the pupils and teachers with the history, culture, tradition and achievements of the people of Ukraine as well as the development of Ukraine-Canada bilateral relations. The presentation was attended by pupils who came or are citizens of different countries, e.g. Italy, Poland, Mexico, Turkey etc., including those whose parents are posted at foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Canada. The attendees showed high interest to Ukraine and obtained the facts which answered their question about why relations between Ukraine and Canada have status of Special Partnership.

At the end of the meeting Mrs. Prystaiko treated the pupils with traditional Ukrainian sweets and together with Mr.Sienik answered numerous questions of the auditorium that also had a chance to enjoy the exhibit of symbols of the Ukrainian State.

Teachers from the Hilson Public School thanked Mrs.Prystaiko and the diplomat of the Embassy and expressed hope for the continued cooperation with the diplomatic mission.
