A packed hall at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa greeted the performers with resounding ovations.

The grand Canadian tour of the National Ballet of Ukraine, organized in partnership with the Olena Zelenska Foundation, the Embassy of Ukraine in Canada, and HUMANITE, is a powerful reminder to our Canadian 🇨🇦 partners and friends that the war is ongoing. Today, we continue to defend our land, our people, and our rich Ukrainian culture.

The National Ballet of Ukraine’s tour spans 10 of Canada’s largest cities, giving over 40,000 people the opportunity to experience the richness of Ukrainian culture and feel the resilient Ukrainian spirit through dance and music by Ukrainian composers.

The charitable funds raised during this tour will be directed to the Olena Zelenska Foundation to help rebuild the lives of Ukrainians affected by the war.
