Today, in the heart of Canada’s democracy, on Parliament Hill, we gathered with over 1,000 people to mark three years of Ukraine’s heroic resistance against Russia’s full-scale invasion. 

Ukraine has withstood unimaginable horrors, yet it continues to fight for its very existence, for democracy, for international law, and for justice. 

We sincerely thank Speaker of the House of Commons Greg Fergus, Canadian political leaders, MP Eric Duncan, Senator Rebecca  Patterson, Ambassadors, Ottawa City Hall, Colonel Jason Guiney, and members of the Ukrainian community UCC National - Ukrainian Canadian Congress Ukrainian Canadian Congress - Ottawa Branch for standing with Ukraine today.   

Canada has been with us every step of the way - among the first to provide weapons, impose sanctions, recognize Russia’s war crimes as genocide, and declare that Ukraine will not be abandoned. 

We are grateful to everyone who continues to march, speak out, and push for stronger support. 

Ukraine stands, Ukraine fights, Ukraine will win.
