Mitacs is one of Canada’s most effective academic mobility programs, providing young Ukrainian students and researchers with access to modern and innovative methods, as well as to Canadian universities. Since 2017, thanks to this partnership, more than 1,000 Ukrainian students have completed internships at leading universities and research centres across Canada.

The signed Letter of Intent ensures the continuation of this program for the next three years, preserving opportunities to expand cooperation between our countries’ universities and to create new channels for academic and scientific partnership. This is a direct investment in Ukraine’s human capital.
