On March 10-11, Ukraine's Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine Iryna Mudra and Adviser to the Office of the President Markiyan Kliuchkovskyi visited Canada.
The delegation arrived in Ottawa to advocate for the creation and implementation of an international compensation mechanism for reparations for damage caused by the russian armed aggression against Ukraine, the need to bring to justice those responsible for the crime of aggression against Ukraine through the establishment of a Special International Tribunal.
During the visit, they held meetings with partners in the Global Affairs Canada and the Department of Justice Canada as well as meetings with the Chairman of the Canadian-Ukrainian Parliamentary Friendship Group Yvan Baker and the co-chairman of the Friendship Group James Bezan.
Ukraine's Deputy Minister of Justice Iryna Mudra and Presidential Advisor Markiyan Kliuchkovskyi participated at the panel discussion «Justice and Accountability for Human Rights Violations by russia in Ukraine» at the Embassy organised in partnership with the Parliamentary Center.
