On March 3, Heather McPherson, MP from NDP, visited Ukraine.

The Member of the Canadian Parliament visited the city of Irpin, Kyiv region, where she met local volunteers and get to know the work of the indomitable point.

As part of the visit, Heather McPherson met with First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Kornienko, First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.

The parties discussed the situation in Ukraine related to russia's aggression against Ukraine, Canada's long-term plan for Ukraine, military aid, the issue of strengthening sanctions and confiscation of assets of the russian federation, Canada's humanitarian assistance and demining, Canada's support for Ukraine's application for membership in NATO, as well as taking steps to rebuild Ukraine.
