Great news for Ukrainian businesses and all lovers of high-quality fruit – Canada has officially opened its market for the import of fresh Ukrainian apples!

Thanks to the joint efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Embassy of Ukraine in Canada, and the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, Ukrainian producers now have new opportunities to enter the Canadian market. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has approved an export program, providing our farmers and entrepreneurs with another strong opportunity to expand their business geography.

Canada has already updated its Automated Import Reference System (AIRS) to include Ukraine and has approved the Ukrainian Apple Export Program (Malus domestica) for import into Canada.
