Ambassador of Ukraine in Canada Vadym Prystaiko met with His Worship Jim Watson, Mayor of the City of Ottawa

The meeting was held in the Mayor’s Office at City Hall and was filled with a friendly and sincere spirit. The two counterparts discussed a wide scope of issues, ranging from bilateral Ukraine-Canada relations to the working conditions of the Embassy of Ukraine.
Ambassador Vadym Prystaiko used the opportunity to express his gratitude to the City of Ottawa for facilitating the celebration of memorable dates in the history of Ukraine, including the raising of the Ukrainian State Flag at Ottawa City Hall on August 24th each year to mark Ukraine’s National Day.
His Worship noted how active the local Ukrainian community is and that they play a big role in the life of the Canada’s capital.
