On November 27, the Ukrainian booth was presented for the fourth time at the Salon du livre de Montréal, one of the largest French-language book fairs in the world.

Traditionally, the Ukrainian booth showcases books in three languages: Ukrainian, French, and English.

This year, the program at the booth is especially rich and diverse. Among the highlights is the Exhibition of Destroyed Books.
The booth features a unique display of books destroyed by Russia during the attack on Kharkiv on May 23, which resulted in the destruction of the Vivat publishing house's "Factor-Druk" printing facility.

The Ukrainian booth is traditionally organized by the Club Ukrainien de Montréal, with logistical support this year provided by Ukrposhta.
We sincerely thank the team at Club Ukrainien de Montréal for their continuous efforts in promoting contemporary Ukrainian literature in Canada.

The Salon du livre de Montréal 2024 runs from November 27 to December 1 in three formats:
📍 A literary festival at various locations in Montreal;
📍 A fair open to the general public;
📍 An online program.

The book fair will feature 68 events, including 15 discussions, 22 round tables, 17 partner activities, as well as literary award ceremonies and special presentations.
