On March 17, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada, Yuliya Kovaliv, together with the Ambassador of Poland to Canada, Witold Dzielski, and the Ambassador of the European Union to Canada, Geneviève Tuts, took part in the 10th meeting of the Ottawa Group of Friends of Ukraine – an initiative that brings together international partners to coordinate efforts in supporting Ukraine.
The keynote speaker of the meeting, held under the general theme "Peace through Strength – the Perspectives of European and Transatlantic Engagement," was Paweł Kowal, Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Polish Sejm and the Prime Minister of Poland’s Special Envoy for Ukraine.

Security support: Expanding military assistance to strengthen the Armed Forces of Ukraine and enhancing cooperation in the defense sector.
Financial aid: Joint efforts of international partners to support Ukraine’s economic growth and reconstruction.
International solidarity: The importance of uniting European and transatlantic partners in countering Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.
Recent EU initiatives aimed at strengthening the defense capabilities of member states.
Joint actions of European countries to counter current security threats, primarily from Russia.
