Yesterday in Ottawa, with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Canada, a presentation of Ukrainian products, “The Art of Ukrainian Food”, was held for Canadian politicians and business leaders.
Guests had the opportunity to experience the finest and most delicious Ukrainian goods from brands such as Pyriatyn, MHP, Bakery Food Investment, Nash Syk (Vitmark), Nizhyn, Veres, Honigma, Shoud’e Natural Sweets, Ascania-Pack, and Idealist Coffee. Many of these products are already available to Canadian consumers or will be in the coming months.
The event was opened by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada, Yuliya Kovaliv, Minister of Export Promotion, International Trade, and Economic Development Mary Ng, and Members of Parliament Ivan Baker, James Bezan, Simon-Pierre Savard-Tremblay, and Richard Cannings.
Attendees enjoyed a taste of traditional Ukrainian delicacies while immersing themselves in the unique culture of Ukraine through its flavors and aromas.
A special guest of the event was Ukrainian chef and cultural ambassador of borscht, Ievgen Klopotenko, who treated attendees to spiced chicken wings produced by MHP with maple syrup and traditional Ukrainian dumplings (galushky).
Ukrainian products have already found loyal fans among Canadian politicians and businesspeople, and we hope they will become even more popular in the local market.
A big thank you to the teams at Finica, MHP, and MEEST Canada for organizing this exciting and delicious event. May business ties and gastronomic connections between our countries continue to strengthen, and may Ukrainian products win the hearts of Canadians.
