Today, we join our Canadian friends and the community in honouring the memory of the brave men and women who served and sacrificed for peace, freedom, and shared values.

Thousands of Ukrainian-Canadians served in the Canadian Armed Forces, contributing to Canada’s legacy of service and inspiring generations. Numerous monuments commemorate their sacrifice, and the names of Ukrainian Canadian veterans can be found on war memorials across the country. 

On this day, we are once again reminded of the value of peace and pay respect to those who continue to fight for it today in Ukraine.
