On April 25, the Parliament of Canada held a special meeting of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development dedicated to Ukraine. 

Ambassador Yulia Kovaliv took part in the meeting.

The Ambassador of Ukraine thanked the members of the Parliament for the multi-party support of Ukraine and emphasized the need to increase military aid to Ukraine.

Yulia Kovaliv emphasized the importance of sanctions pressure on Russia, as well as tools to control sanctions evasion.

Commenting on the need to confiscate Russian assets, Ambassador Kovaliv emphasized that these funds are needed for the restoration of Ukraine.

A special emphasis of the speech of the Ambassador of Ukraine in the Canadian Parliament was the need to create a Special International Tribunal for the crime of Russian aggression against Ukraine.

The ambassador called on the members of the Committee to support Ukraine's accession to NATO at the level of the Parliament, as well as the Peace Formula of the President of Ukraine.
