Ukraine is ready to enhance its bilateral relations with Canada, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said during a meeting with Marie-Claude Bibeau, Minister of International Development and La Francophonie.

"For Ukraine, Canada occupies a special place. For Canada and Canadian citizens the Ukrainians are also very important. We highly appreciate the development of our bilateral ties and, recently we have demontsrated deeper cooperation", the Head of Government stressed.

The Prime Minister also accentuated that Ukraine felt Canada's firm stance and support in restoring territorial integrity and repelling Russian aggression and internal support for reforms.

Apart from that, the parties discussed the deepening of economic relations between the countries. "I want to emphasize that our economic and trade relations have excellent prospects for development", said Volodymyr Groysman.

The Head of Government thanked Canada for its readiness to host the next international Ukraine reform conference.
