It was stated by the President at the informal meeting with the Club of chief editors of CIS, Baltic states and Georgia. “I hope our politicians will have enough wisdom not to speculate on constitutional issues anymore and to support this work at the beginning stage,” the President said.

The President noted: everyone knows that Ukrainian Constitution has often been the “hostage of political struggle”. Now there is a necessity of its modernization in accordance with our obligations to the Council of Europe and for successful implementation of reforms that partially influence certain constitutional provisions.
