Full implementation of anti-corruption legislation will create efficient mechanisms of combating corruption. It was stated by the President at the informal meeting with the Club of chief editors of CIS, Baltic states and Georgia.
The President reminded that Ukraine has already adopted the most serious anti-corruption legislation. “We implement strategy of overcoming corruption that unfortunately has become a systematic phenomenon,” the President emphasized adding that corruption and bureaucratic conservatism are the main reasons of braking the implementation of reforms. “We want to solve this problem in a complex manner,” the President said. He added that the progress in solving this issue is already notable. “I am confident that step by step we will overcome the shadow economy and form modern fair state management,” the President noted.
