President Petro Poroshenko had a phone conversation with Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau

The two leaders discussed a series of issues of bilateral agenda, agreed to sign the agreement on cooperation in security sphere shortly and discussed intensification of dialogue on liberalization of the visa regime between Ukraine and Canada.
The President offered to synchronously ratify the FTA agreement signed during the visit of Prime Minister Trudeau to Ukraine on July 11-12.
The Head of State also informed on the situation in Donbas and expressed hope that Canada’s policy of sanctions regarding Russia would be continued.
