The event was followed by the round-table discussion with Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada Andriy Shevchenko, Ambassador of Ukraine to the USA Valeriy Chaly and UCC President Paul Grod. The discussion was moderated by Ukrainian journalist and TV presenter Hanna Homonai.

The issues of Russian military aggression against Ukraine, the implementation of the Minsk agreements, fighting corruption and European integration prospects of Ukraine were discussed during the roundtable.

Around 500 guests attended the event, among them the members of federal and provincial parliaments, heads of Ontario Ukrainian community organisations, academics and clergy.
