It will be used by us for the reforms needed for successful European integration. Canada has always stood next to the Ukraine in times of challenges, it was the first Western country to recognize Ukraine's independence in 1991 and the new Ukraine in 2014.
We are grateful to Canada for a firm and consistent position on the aggression of Russia against Ukraine and reaffirm commitment to close cooperation in all spheres.
Ukraine is proud of the special partnership between the two countries, based on close family ties between the Ukrainian and the historic homeland in Canada, as well as shared values, professing our peoples and governments.”
