Ambassador Vadym Prystaiko greeted the Ukrainian Participants of the World Credit Union Conference in Ottawa

Ambassador of Ukraine in Canada Vadym Prystaiko met with the representatives of the Ukrainian Credit Unions of Canada, USA and Ukraine, who arrived in Ottawa in order to participate in the 2013 World Credit Union Conference. The conference was held on July 14-17 in Canada’s capital. More than 2000 credit union delegates from 61 countries participated in the Conference.
Ukraine was represented by the Ukrainian National Association of Credit Unions (UNACU) and its delegation consisted of representatives from different regions of Ukraine. The representatives from Ukraine had an opportunity to meet with Ambassador Prystaiko on the premises of the Ottawa Branch of Buduchnist Credit Union. At this meeting, they had an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the work of their Canadian counterparts. At the same time, they also were able to inform the attendees of the various activities of the Credit Unions in Ukraine.
During the meeting, Ambassador Vadym Prystaiko took the opportunity to discuss various issues relating to the activities of the Credit Unions in Canada, USA and Ukraine with the President of the World Council of Ukrainian Cooperatives Mr.Ihor E.Laszok and the Ottawa Branch Manager at Buduchnist Credit Union Mrs.Nadia Dubyk. He promised them his assistance and cooperation in the future.
